So today, I decided to get back in my car and drive for the first time in about a week. On the freeway, I was tailgated by two different Ford Explorers, which was the same car that rear ended us in the accident. Then at one point, I was behind one Explorer while being tailgated by the other. Also, there was a very large semi truck in front of me, like bigger than Optimus Prime, and he was slowing down really fast. His brake lights were out and the only way I knew to slow down was because I could tell that he was slowing down and there was a lot of smoke from his tires. Smelling the smoke of the burning rubber I was reminded of the specific smell that I smelt during the accident-a mixture of burning rubber from the tires, gasoline, airbag dust, and just an all around burning smell. I got to my destination safely and I’m feeling just fine.
